Great Lakes Roofing Corporation (GLRC) is growing, and internal promotions have created space for a Sales Branch Manager at our Appleton location.

Sales Branch Manager Requirements:
  • Roofing / Construction background;
  • Minimum 10 years of successful sales track record including mastery of B2B negotiations;
  • Leadership abilities to effectively motivate and manage a diverse range of personnel;
  • Competency in business management including branch financials like net income and PnL, and an ability to partner with the Operations Manager to achieve financial goals.
- Computer program and mobile app competencies including but not limited to Microsoft Suite - Teams/Outlook/Excel, etc, and iOS.
  • Bonus if you've already managed a team or held a leadership position.

Our Sales Branch Manager will provide continuity in the pipeline with their own sales skills and provide leadership to our driven sales team. We seek a self-starter with strong negotiating skills. Sales Branch Manager Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and gross margin targets;
  • Provide quality roofing products to clients within a designated territory;
  • Coordinate day-to-day branch activity with the branch Operations Manager;
  • Perform take-offs, presentations, and closing negotiations as needed by your team and your territory;
  • Rely on your team for lead generation, project management, estimating and more;
  • Demonstrate integrity and perseverance;
  • Manage branch personnel (average 6 people) – hiring, training, follow-up, etc;
  • Monitor branch financials, PnL, and goals on a weekly basis; present metrics to the Leadership Team on a quarterly basis.

Physical Requirements for all Outside Sales Team Members:

  • Overhead lifting of 50lbs several times a day
  • Ability to lift, carry & set up 3-story ladder several times a day
  • Climb ladder carrying 30-40lbs of gear to rooftop
  • Be comfortable outside in all types of weather while on rooftops
  • Physically handle roofing materials
  • Take & record accurate measurements-read tape measure
  • Correctly map out (draw) rooftop data
  • Visually notate & accurately record roof problems
